The Cypriot National Workshop of PestNu project took place on the 14th of December, in Nicosia, Cyprus, at the facilities of the Cyprus Productivity Center and online.
The title of the Workshop was “Η Βιώσιμη καλλιέργεια στην Κύπρο: Στον δρόμο προς την εφαρμογή της Πράσινης Συμφωνίας (Green Deal)” (“Sustainable agriculture in Cyprus: Towards the application of the Green Deal”).
The main scope of the event, organized by STRATA, has been the presentation of the current situation of agriculture in Cyprus as well as to present trends of the sector, and bring together people from the farms, public authorities, academia, industry and associations. Totally 58 individuals participated in the event, 20 physically and 38 online.
Participants coming from the Farms, Universities, Public authorities, Agronomists and the private sector joined the Workshop, and shared opinions, knowledge and experiences regarding the wider area of precision agriculture in Cyprus.
