Nikolaos Giakoumoglou, from CERTH presented the paper entitled “Whiteflies and Black Aphids Detection in Field Vegetable Crops using Deep Learning” in the 5th IEEE conference on image processing, applications and systems 2022 (https://ipas.ieee.tn/), which took place on December 5-7, 2022, in Genova, Italy, and online. The paper appeared in Regular Session 11 “Image Understanding and Biological Applications”, according to the agenda.
The authors of the paper are: Nikolaos Giakoumoglou, Dr. Eleftheria Maria Pechlivani, Professor Nikolaos Katsoulas, and Dr. Dimitrios Tzovaras and it is supported by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Green Deal grant agreement No 101037128, project PestNu.
A wide spectrum of stakeholders participated in the conference, such as researchers, innovators, academics, and practitioners, in image processing theory and tools.
