Dr. Eleftheria-Maria Pechlivani, project coordinator of the Green Deal EU project PestNu, successfully participated in the workshop on “Today’s challenges: Together we secure the future for the Food of our Food“, organized by the Hellenic Fertilizers’ Association (S.P.E.L.), on Saturday 22nd of October 2022 at “Ioannis Vellidis” Congress Centre, in Thessaloniki (Greece), under the framework of AGROTICA 2022 exhibition.
More than 100 stakeholders participated in the workshop including farmers, political leaders, policy makers, academics from the field of Agriculture, company representatives and professionals from the wider field of fertilizers and plant nutrition.
During the event, an opportunity was given to discuss PestNu’s goals highlighting the importance of the systemic innovation of novel digital and space-based technologies combined with agro-ecological and organic practices in the nutrition of vegetable crops.
