A new agreement has been signed between PestNu’s partner “Tilamur” and the ‘Jesus Abandoned Foundation’ of Murcia, Spain.
This foundation works as a shelter and has as its main aim to help people in need, offering about 300 free meals per day, as well as psychological and medical care.
The agreement ensures that Tilamur will offer to the foundation a reasonable amount of fish and fresh vegetables, which are being produced sustainably and under the guidelines of the EU, within the context of the PestNu project,using its innovative technologies, in order to support its “Soup Kitchen”.
The support of Tilamur to this local foundation highlights the social aspect of the organization and the whole consortium of PestNu project, which aim is to maximize its impact on the local communities.
