We are delighted to share the successful implementation of the 3rd National Workshop of the Greek cluster of PestNu partner, which took place the University of Thessaly farms, At the 20th of May 2024.
The event attracted a wide range of stakeholders, who had the opportunity to visit the greenhouse facilities, have a tour around it, and engage with specialists of the University. Many questions arised and fruitful discussions took place, mainly about the latest technologies and how they are efficiently used in greenhouse farming. These interactions provided attendees with a deeper understanding of the innovations in modern agriculture.
Following to the tour, the participants had the chance to participate in interactive workshops, and gain practical knowledge in the technologies developed withing the PestNu project. Furthermore, attendees sampled a variety of products cultivated and produced in the UTH’s greenhouse facilities, showcasing the farm’s capabilities and the quality of its produced crops.
Concluding, another significant pillar analysed during the event, has been the primary challenges the agricultural sector is facing today and how PestNu project contributes to them.
