Torre de Tombo, Lisbon, November 28, 2023 – The Portuguese National Rural Network, one of PestNu’s Advisory Board members, promoted a networking event entitled Networking: Partnerships, Innovation and Sustainability.
This initiative drew an impressive gathering of about 100 leaders from the agricultural and forestry sectors, including associations, companies, advisors, and academia, emphasizing the collective drive towards sustainable development!
The event featured an engaging program that included a review of the National Rural Network’s efforts from 2014 to 2020, focus group discussions on future priorities, and an Awards Ceremony recognizing innovations in the agri-food sector with the Minister of Agriculture and Food in attendance.
A significant highlight was APEMETA’s contribution to national policy recommendations by sharing PestNu’s impactful outcomes from national workshops and clustering activities. These insights underlined PestNu’s pivotal role in promoting sustainability and innovation in the agriculture and forestry sectors.
