A summer school has been organized at the University of Thessaly, on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2022, within the context of PestNu project.
The summer school, titled as ‘Measures to adapt the agricultural sector to the effects of the climate change’ totally hosted 40 individuals, both digitally and physically, coming from various sectors, such as Agronomists, Environmentalists, undergraduate students, representatives of the local authorities and others. During the first day of the summer school, the participants had the opportunity to attend sessions concerning PestNu’s objectives, goals, initial results and achievments with regards to Digital Space-based Technologies (DSTs) and Agro-Ecological and Organic practices (AOPs) which are developed in PestNu project.
During the second day of the summer school, a guided tour of the greenhouse facilities has been offered to the participants. The tour followed another session, which presented the experiments which have been conducted by University of Thessaly, within the context of PestNu project, and their main results.
It has been a fruitful and creative weekend at the facilities of University of Thessaly!
