On July 19, 2024, PestNu partner APEMETA participated as a speaker in the Portuguese webinar devoted to innovations for pest and disease monitoring and forecasting organized by COTHN – The operational and technological center for horticultural and fuits – a Portuguese relevant player next to farmers.
This event took place within the activities of the Portuguese project Call4Earth, devoted to dissemination of knowledge to production organizations for the promotion and development of the Territory next to national fruit and vegetable producers and forestry producers. APEMETA had the chance to present PestNu project along with some of its innovations. Specifically, the AI Robotic Trap, the AGV robot for pest monitoring and 3D spraying, the Agroradar based on Earth Observation data, and the PestNu Decision Support System were presented to an audience of more than 120 participants.
The participants came from various sectors such as Horticultural and fruit production, farmers, advisors, researchers, students and investors.
