Agroväst represented PestNu project at the Agricultural Fair Borgeby fältdagar on the 26th and 27th of June 2024, in Borgeby, Scania, Sweden.
This fair was a significant event for the Agricultural industry in Sweden, and many companies and farmers from Sweden and other Scandinavian and European countries attended. The AI Robotic Trap was demonstrated in the Agroväst booth and many attendees showed their interest to get more information about the trap and the other innovative techniques which are developed within the context of PestNu project.
On the second day (June 27) Agroväst also arranged the National Workshop attracting participants from various sectors such as farmers, advisors, researchers, digital farming specialists, industry representatives, agriculture sector. The AI Robotic trap was presented to the participants. The discussions focused on how helpful is the product in IPM strategy for prioritizing farmers’ time for the pests’ treatments. Additionally, all the innovations and techniques from PestNu were presented as well as how they can be applied in Sweden.
This fair attracted 19.000 visitors, approximately half of them noticed the trap and around 1.000 visitors stopped to get more information about the PestNu project.
