Dr. Ria Pechlivani, the PCo of the H2020 Green Deal project PestNu, is happy to invite you to the 1st Workshop on Clustering Activities of PestNu’s sister projects that will take place on 7 July 2022 in Thessaloniki (Greece). Download the Workshop’s Agenda here.
In this workshop >20 European project coordinators and the Green Deal project coordinators of LC-GD-6-1-2020 are invited to participate in the clustering activities that will be organized by CERTH and held at its central amphitheater on 7 July from 9:00 to 17:00 pm. During the event, speeches, presentations & posters of the relevant EU research projects, discussions on strategies concerning the Green Deal objectives, as well as round tables for broadening policy context will take place.
The objectives of this workshop are twofold:
Ø foster exchanges between the participants and identify and promote potential synergies between European projects to help meet the objective of the European Green Deal: reducing the dependence on hazardous pesticides; reducing the losses of nutrients from fertilisers, towards zero pollution of water, soil, and air and ultimately fertilizer use,
Ø create a broader policy framework in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), in organic farming, food wastes, and in novel circular economy food production systems

– By bus:
From the city center take the bus No.10 Charilaou, to Nea Elvetia, where you transfer to bus No.66 “Charilaou-Thermi”. Then you get off at the CERTH bus station right in front of the campus. The bus station is called “Ζώνη Καινοτομίας – Innovation Zone”.
